Written Statement will not be taken on record if not accompanied by Affidavit of Admission/Denial, Delhi High CourtMay 25 2019
When a written statement is filed, an affidavit of admission or denial must mandatorily accompany it, the Delhi High Court has ruled.
If such an affidavit of admission/denial is not filed, the Court will not take the statement on record. Consequently, the contested documents filed by the plaintiff would be admitted by the Court.
As noted in the order passed by Justice RS Endlaw,
