What sort of prayers are you making? SC dismisses petition to rename Aligarh Muslim University, another for clean public toilets

The Supreme Court today dismissed a Public Interest Litigation petition praying that the name of Aligarh Muslim University be changed.

The matter was heard by a Bench of Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi and Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul.

The Court wasted no time in dismissing the petition.

"You want us to do that? Dismissed", remarked CJI Ranjan Gogoi.
