Uncomfortable Questions A look at the regulation of litigating lawyers in India

More than 10 years ago, the Supreme Court declared that lawyers should not boycott judicial proceedings. The Court relied on a resolution passed by the BCI; a resolution which has, for all practical purposes, been reduced to a blurred memory. Now, a petition before the Karnataka High Court has sought the implementation of this very resolution.
