Tatva Legal promotes Venkat Raman to partnership in Chennai

Tatva Legal has promoted its Managing Associate R. Venkat Raman to Partnership in Chennai. Venkat also heads the firm’s Chennai litigation practice. The litigation team has about five lawyers.

He is an alumnus of the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai and was enrolled in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu in 2006.

Trained as a trial lawyer at Rank Associates, Chennai, he had joined Tatva Legal in 2012. In a career spanning over 11 years, Venkat has handled variety of Corporate, Commercial, Banking, Consumer, Real Estate & Infrastructure litigations, for various clients.

The firm’s Corporate and Real Estate practice in Chennai is headed by Santosh Ukkur, a 1993 NLS alumnus, with a team of 7 lawyers.
