Supreme Court stays proceedings of Arumughaswamy Commission probing death of J JayalalithaaApril 26 2019
The Supreme Court today stayed the proceedings of Justice (Retd.) A Arumughaswamy Commission which is inquiring into the adequacy/ correctness of medical treatment given to late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa.
The order was passed by a Bench of Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi and Justices Deepak Gupta and Sanjiv Khanna in an appeal by Apollo Hospitals.
