Bombay High Court senior advocate Sunil Manohar is slated to be Maharashtra’s next Advocate General, reports TOI. The BJP Government headed by Devendra Fadnavis, has recommended Manohar's name for appointment as Maharashtra's top law officer. The Nagpur-based veteran will succeed current AG Darius Khambata, who served under the previous Congress-NCP government.
