Social Media Surveillance Hub: Centre withdraws plan; Will review, AG tells SC

The Central government today informed the Supreme Court that it has withdrawn the controversial Request for Proposal (RFP) dated April 24, 2018. The Government had invited bids and proposals for selection of an agency to set up a Social Media Communication Hub by the I&B Ministry.
