Senior Advocate Ritin Rai joins 7 King's Bench Walk as Door TenantSeptember 18 2019
Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of India Ritin Rai has accepted an offer to join 7 King's Bench Walk Barristers in London. He has joined chambers as a Door Tenant with effect from today.
Rai, who is an expert in international dispute resolution, said that the door tenancy would help further his existing practice. Speaking to Bar & Bench, he said,
"My practice here involves a lot of work related to international disputes, and therefore, I think the door tenancy will allow me to further my expertise in the area and help serve my clients better."
Rai has expertise in commercial and regulatory disputes in all areas, including telecom, company law, insolvency, and competition law. He further said in a press release,
"The rapidly changing nature of commercial dispute resolution in India has resulted in the frequent invocation of issues of comparative law and practice in Indian courts and tribunals. Being part of the 7 King’s Bench Walk community will enhance my ability to address those issues."
Ritin Rai is a graduate of Campus Law Centre, Delhi University. He went on to complete a BCL from Oxford University and an LL.M from Harvard University in 1998.
Rai began his career at international law firm Jones Day, where he spent two years. He then worked at Pathak & Associates for three years, before setting up his independent practice in Delhi.
