186 cases of the 1984 Sikh riots matter will be re-investigated.
The Supreme Court today decided to constitute a fresh three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to re-investigate 186 cases pertaining to 1984 sikh riots.
A bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra along with Justices DY Chandrachud and AM Khanwilkar passed the order in a plea seeking reopening and re-investigating the anti-sikh riots cases.
