The Supreme Court today dismissed a petition praying for framing of rules to regulate the manner and procedure for constitution of Benches in the Supreme Court and the High Courts.

The judgment was rendered by Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud in a petition filed by one Asok Pande, a lawyer at the Allahabad High Court.
