A plea pending before the Supreme Court has posed an interesting question concerning whether an arbitration clause in a Principal Contract should be impliedly read into subsequent contracts made under the Principal Contract.

The Bench of Justices SA Bobde and Abdul Nazeer has issued notice in the petition brought by Rotocast Industries Limited, a Raipur-based steel shot and steel grit manufacturing company.
