SAM, Khaitan, Hogan, Gunderson, CAM, Trilegal on biggest e-commerce deal: Walmart acquires 77% stake in Flipkart

Global retail giant Walmart is buying 77% stake in Flipkart for $16 billion. The deal will probably be the biggest in the e-commerce space.

The remainder of the business will be held by some of Flipkart’s existing shareholders, including Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal, Tencent Holdings Limited, Tiger Global Management LLC and Microsoft Corp.
