Basu will now jointly head the India group along with Rustam Dubash..Basu, who was an Associate at White and Case, London before joining Platinum Partners’ Delhi office, is an experienced M&A and projects lawyers. The NLSIU graduate (2005) also clerked under the then Chief Justice of India, VN Khare and is involved with the charity CRY (Child Rights and You), which focuses on education sector projects for underprivileged children in India..Speaking to Bar & Bench Basu said, “I feel honoured and privileged to join the partnership at Penningtons, comprising some of the most talented lawyers dealing with complex legal issues in a pragmatic manner.
