RTI activists willing to join PM Narendra Modi's degree case, DU opposes application

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's degree case took a new turn yesterday with three RTI activists Anjali Bhardwaj, Nikhil Dey and Amrita Johri filing an intervention application to assist the court in determining the importance of right to information in such cases.

The University of Delhi had approached the Delhi High Court against the 2016 order of the Central Information Commission which had allowed inspection of Delhi University’s 1978 BA degree records.
