He further said he would fix his priorities once he officially takes up the post as Solicitor-General..Nariman was designated Senior Advocate at the age of 37 years when the then Chief Justice of India, M.N. Venkatachalaiah, amended the rules reducing the limit of the minimum age of 45 years for designating a lawyer as a senior advocate. He is the son of eminent jurist Fali S. Nariman..Nariman joined the Bar as an advocate in 1974. He is a graduate from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University and went to Harvard for further studies. According to Hindu, he has practised Maritime Law in New York at Haight, Gardner, Poor and Havens for one year. Apart from legal interest, he has been specialising in Comparative Religious Studies and he was ordained Zoroastrian priest from Bandra Agiari..Nariman has been appearing in various constitutional and corporate matters in both Supreme Court and various High Courts. One of the recent important cases that Nariman handled was the gas sharing dispute between Mukesh Ambani-led RIL and Anil Ambani-led ADAG, in which he represented RIL along with Senior Counsel Harish N.
