Reliance Saga Days 5 and 6 Jethmalani accuses Government of siding with RIL as Salve concludes arguments

RIL’s counsel, Harish Salve, on Wednesday suggested to the Supreme Court that the post-contractual agreements could be a suitable arrangement to resolve the dispute with RNRL and the price fixed for distributing gas to NTPC could be applied to settle the row. However, Mohan Parasaran, appearing for the Government, objected on the grounds that they cannot raise the issue of contract with a PSU in this matter as the RIL-NTPC matter is pending before the Bombay High Court.
