This recruitment season, the 2020 graduating batch of National Law School of India University (NLSIU Bangalore) has secured a total of 44 jobs so far.
A total of 58 students out of a class of 80 took part in the recruitment process this year. 23 students received pre-placement offers, 16 students accepted offers on Day Zero, and 5 students accepted offers on Day One.
As per a release by the Recruitment Coordination Committee (RCC) of the 2020 NLSIU batch, this is a record number of placements as of Day One.
The salaries offered by law firms is in the range of Rs. 15-18 lakh per annum. Those who landed jobs as in-house counsel expect a salary package ranging from Rs. 12-16 lakh per annum.

Among the law firms, L&L Partners was the biggest hirer, recruiting 12 NLSIU students. Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Trilegal made 7 hires each, while Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas made 6. Khaitan & Co made 3 hires, while AZB & Partners made 2. S&R Associates, Talwar Thakore & Associates, and Argus Partners made 1 hire each.
4 students landed jobs as in-house counsel; ICICI Bank and Societe Generale made 2 hires each.
The 2020 batch RCC consists of Aishwarya Dixit, Akash Jain, Ashim Gupta, Dhanush Dinesh, Neha Lodha, Niharika Sharma, and Samriddhi Shukla.
