RecTracker: NALSAR 2020 batch records 39 offers, 8 TCs/Vac Schemes on Day Zero

The 2020 batch of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad recorded a total of 47 job offers and vacation schemes/training contracts as of the recently concluded Day Zero.

34 students of the batch that will graduate in 2020 sat for placements on Day Zero. Out of these, 16 accepted jobs on Day Zero. As per a release by the 2020 Recruitment Coordination Committee, this is the highest number of accepted offers as of Day Zero at NALSAR.

In addition to this, 23 students have bagged pre-placement offers at various law firms. A total of 8 training contracts/vacation schemes were offered to NALSAR students by international firms.

Among the Indian law firms, AZB & Partners made the most number of offers, with 9. L&L Partners was not far behind, having made 8 offers. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas made 6 offers, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas made 4, while Trilegal and Khaitan & Co. made 3 offers each.

The other Indian firms to make offers were Fox Mandal & Associates, Majmudar & Co, S&R Associates, and Talwar Thakore & Associates. ICICI Bank made one offer as well.

Linklaters offered 3 students training contracts/vacation schemes, Herbert Smith Freehills made 2, while Allen & Overy offered 1. Pinsent Masons and Skadden made one offer each as well.

The RCC statement says that the figures are updated till the recruitment drive on Day Zero, and are in no way final, as more entities are scheduled to be hosted for campus recruitment.

The 2020 batch RCC comprised Deep Shah, Shaktibhushan Shukla, Somya Jena, Karan Sangani, Aditya Sarkar, N Sivaraman, Srija Kumar, Anirudh Singh and Arun V Nair.
