The graduating batch of Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) Visakhapatnam has bagged 42 job offers.
Out of a batch strength of 102, 47 students opted to sit for placements.
The biggest hirers were LPOs; Mindcrest Inc. in Pune offered as many as 17 jobs, while Quislex and LexQual Solutions in Coimbatore offered jobs to 7 students each.
Bangalore’s King and Partridge made 3 offers (with 2 students waitlisted), while Masilamani Law Partners in Noida and Biswajit Sarkar – Advocates I.P. Attorneys in Kolkata made 2 offers each.

The Recruitment Co-ordination Committee at DSNLU has a one-offer policy, which ultimately means that the number of offers will most likely tally up with the number of acceptances. A statement by the RCC reads,
“We, at DSNLU follow one person offer rule; according to which, the role of RCC comes to an end as soon as a registered candidate gets an offer from any of the participating recruiters.
He/she becomes ineligible to appear for further interviews/tests in the entire recruitment drive. This rule has been introduced with an aim to eliminate repetition of offers to the same candidate, thereby providing equal opportunities to every registered student.”
The RCC comprises convenor Ayush Jaiswal, co-conveners Suvid Chaturvedi and R Aishwarya Devi, members Abhinav Tewari, Akash Deep Srivastava, Aparajita Murthy, C Sindhura, Mansi Tiwari, Srishti Thukral, and Vanya Srikant, along with faculty advisor Dr. P Sridevi.
Corrigendum: The article initially termed the 2017 batch as DSNLU’s first batch, which is incorrect. It is the first batch since the University got recognised as a National Law University in 2012.
