According to the Recruitment Coordination Committee, the programme was a grand success as all students who had opted for campus recruitment were placed with leading law firms (domestic as well as international), companies, individual litigators and non-profit organisations..In terms of the specific numbers, the strength of the graduating batch is 79 students, of which 58 opted for campus recruitment..Students at NALSAR are weighing the multiple choices they have received from various law firms, companies and universities..Domestic law firms across India offered jobs to 39 students, litigating firms offered jobs to 7 students, non-profit organisations offered jobs to 2 students and 16 students were placed with companies. Foreign law firms continued to recruit from Indian law school campuses and offered training contracts to 3 students..Also, 8 students have got selected at leading international universities such as Harvard, Yale, Oxford and Cambridge to pursue the masters course..Speaking to Bar & Bench, members of the NALSAR recruitment committee said, “Last year we saw a success of 97 per cent and this year we have achieved 100 per cent”..The NALSAR recruitment committee is a student run body with 9 members comprising of Ankit Kejriwal, Danish Sheikh, Harsh Kabra, Kanishka Mohan Singh Rathore, Kriti Das, Malak Bhatt, Rohan Singh, Swetali Mohapatra and Yash Bansal..Bar & Bench will be tracking recruitments across Indian law schools.
