Rajaram, S&R, IndusLaw, Veritas act on Meat Brand Licious $25 million fund raise

Meat and Seafood Brand Licious, has raised around $25 million in a Series C funding round.

This round was led by Bertelsmann Nederland B.V, UCLA Foundation and Vertex Ventures SEA Fund III along with participation from existing investors including Sistema Asia Fund, Mayfield India II and 3one4 Capital.

Rajaram Legal advised Licious, led by Partner Priyadarshani Sherchan along with Associates Aakanksha Pagnis and Hemanth Joseph.

S & R Associates advised Bertelsmann, led by Partner Rachael Israel and Associates Upasana Gupta, Eshika Maji and Yash Kumar.

IndusLaw advised Vertex Ventures SEA Fund III, and the team included Partner Anindya Ghosh and Associates Raghav Muthanna and Jaidrath Zaveri.

UCLA Foundation, a university endowment fund managed by the University of California, Los Angeles was represented by Scott Perlov, Associate with Bryan Cave Leighton and Paisner.

Veritas Legal advised the existing investors Sistema Asia Fund, Mayfield India II and 3one4 Capital, led by Partner Nandish Vyas along with Associates Somrita Chatterjee and Tanay Chopra.

The company, which also sells fresh fish and marinated products, said on Wednesday that it will use the fresh funds to expand to new cities, boost its value-added product portfolio and strengthen its supply chain, reported Mint.
