PXV was started under the banner RDA Legal in 2008 by NUJS graduate Rohit Das. The firm was later renamed PXV Law Partners. In 2010-11, Deepto Roy, Phillipe Thomas and Mohit Abraham joined the firm. However, a year later Rohit Das left PXV to restart his firm under the banner RDA Legal.
Prior to joining PXV, Deepto was a Principal Associate with the Projects and Infrastructure team at Amarchand Mangaldas.
Thomas Phillippe, who specialises in corporate laws joined PXV as an Equity Partner from AZB & Partners where he was a Senior Associate. Thomas has also worked with Trilegal in Mumbai.
Mohit initially worked with Amarchand Mangaldas after graduating from NUJS, which was followed by a masters from Harvard Law School after which he practiced in the Supreme Court for five years before joining PXV.
