Punjab & Sind Bank has appointed PDS & Associates as their legal advisor for the implementation of their Core Banking Solutions Project (CBS Project)..The approximate cost of the project is Rs. 268 crore ($49 million). PDS had earlier advised other banks in the public sector in the implementation of CBS including Central Bank of India in the implementation of CBS project in 7 of its Regional Rural Banks across North India which cost approximately Rs. 200 crore ($36 million)..Punjab & Sind Bank is one of the last banks in the public sector to implement CBS.
