Free occupation of State Bungalows by Ex-Chief Ministers illegal, Uttarakhand HC [Read Judgment]May 4 2019
The Uttarakhand High Court on Friday held that the occupation of government bungalows by former Chief Ministers as well their continued use of state vehicles and other amenities free of cost, is illegal and unconstitutional.
While rendering its judgment in the PIL brought by NGO Rural Litigation of Entitlement Kendra (RLEK), the First Bench of Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice Ramesh Chandra Khulbe observed,
