No blanket ban on firecrackers, sale of green crackers allowed: SCOctober 23 2018
The Supreme Court today refused to impose a complete ban on firecrackers ahead of Diwali but has imposed certain conditions on the sale and manufacture of crackers.
The Bench of Justices AK Sikri and Ashok Bhushan has allowed the sale and manufacture of green crackers and low emission crackers alone.
