A 3-member research panel at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (NLSIU) has come out with its first report in a series “detailing Indian involvement with international investment law”. The report briefly traces the contours of Vodafone’s disputes with the Indian government with respect to the prospect of retrospective taxation before focusing on the “possible treatment of the Vodafone arbitration threat by a tribunal”.
