The government of West Bengal has constituted a two-member Commission of Inquiry headed by retired Supreme Court Judge, Justice Madan B Lokur to probe allegations that the Pegasus software developed by Israeli spyware firm NSO had been misused to spy on Indian lawyers, journalists, government officials, Constitutional functionaries and others.
