We expect Attorney General, Solicitor General to ensure that law laid down is followed: Supreme Court on Collegium

The Court said that it expects that the Central government to listen to the Attorney General and the Solicitor General, failing which it would take a judicial decision.

The Supreme Court on Monday urged the Central government's top law officers, Attorney General (AG) and Solicitor General (SG) to ensure that the law laid down by the apex court as regards appointment of judges to the Supreme Court and High Courts is followed.
