Over 4,600 cases e-filed, 1,793 cases disposed of through Virtual Functioning last month at Allahabad HC amid COVID-19

The Allahabad High Court has recorded a significant increase in the number of cases instituted and disposed of through electronic or virtual means, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As per a press release issued by the Allahabad High Court, the month of July 2020 saw over 2,800 cases being instituted at its Allahabad Bench and 1,785 cases filed at its Lucknow Bench through e-filing.

Further, 806 cases at the Allahabad Bench and 987 cases at the Luckdown Bench have been disposed of last month through virtual hearings.
