Three Kerala High Court Additional Judges recommended to be made permanent

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended that three additional judges of the Kerala High Court be made permanent.

To this end, Justices Ashok Menon, Annie John and R Narayan Pisharadi have been recommended as permanent judges of the High Court.

The three were appointed as additional judges of the Kerala High Court on November 30, 2017. Their two-year term was set to expire in November this year.

The resolution states that the recommendation to make them permanent judges was put forth in April this year.

After considering the material on record, the Supreme Court Collegium deemed it fit to recommend their being made permanent judges of the High Court.

Should the Centre process their appointments, the High Court will have 30 permanent judges and 4 additional judges. 13 posts are lying vacant.
