In response, the counsel appearing for the Union of India sought time to seek instructions in this regard..Salve further argued that if his license expired tomorrow without any intervention by the Court, the company would have “to shut down”. The Bench, whilst questioning the Petitioners on the right to renewal clause in the document, took this submission into consideration and granted a week’s time to the Union for filing its reply..The Bench also directed that until further orders are passed, the company’s license tenure shall stand extended till November 18, which is when the matter will be heard next.
