The Telangana State Judicial Academy, Secunderabad has been conducting online classes for the newly recruited Junior Civil Judges amid the COVID-19 lockdown..As per a press note issued in this regard, the online classes are being held on the directions of the Academy's Patron-in-Chief, the Telangana High Court Chief Justice and the President of its Board of Governors. It is further stated,."... the Telangana State Judicial Academy, is conducting daily online classes to the 51 newly recruited Junior Civil Judges who are undergoing training in the Academy since 24th March, 2020 between 10.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m and making best use of the time available during this pandemic of Covid-19 outbreak lockdown period."Press Note.It is informed that the new recruits have been regularly attending online classes from their respective places and interacting with the resource persons actively. Further, the State Judicial Academy has also proposed to conduct online refresher courses through video-conferencing for the Judicial Officers of all cadres in the State..To this end, the services of eminent resource persons, which include the working and retired Judges of the High Court, will be availed. .The first batch of this online refresher course is scheduled to be held from May 6 to May 8 for the Judicial Officers working in the cadre of District Judges and holding positions in Additional District Courts, Family Courts, and Special Courts..The second batch is scheduled from May 11 to May 14 for all the Senior Civil Judges in the State. .The courses will be conducted between 5.00 p.m to 7.00 p.m, in order to ensure that regular urgent judicial work is not hampered..Read the Press Note here:
