The Tamil Nadu Government has notified the appointment of two more Additional Advocates General in the State.

A notification to this effect was issued on August 12.

Advocate M Sricharan Rangarajan, earlier a Special Government Pleader for the Chennai Bench, has been appointed as an Additional Advocate General for the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court.

Prior to his appointment as Special Government Pleader in October 2018, Rangarajan had had been serving as an Additional Government Pleader from January 2018 onwards.

Further, Advocate K Kumaresh Babu has been appointed and Additional Advocate General for the Madras High Court, Chennai Bench.
