The Supreme Court Gender Sensitization and Internal Complaints Committee (GSICC) headed by Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai has notified a one point contact for all sexual harassment complaints in the Supreme Court precincts..As per the circular dated February 14, Registrar Rachna Gupta would be the person to whom sexual harassment complaints can be made. The complaint can be made in writing and can be sent by registered post, courier, speed post or email or can be handed over personally..The decision was taken in the first meeting of the GSICC held on December 9, 2013. According to the notification,.“The aggrieved women as defined in clause 2(a) of the Gender Sensitisation and Sexual Harassment of Women at the Supreme Court of India (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Regulations, 2013 may make a complaint in writing of sexual harassment at Supreme Court of India precincts to the GSICC through its Member Secretary – Ms. Rachna Gupta, Registrar.
