Supreme Court sets aside Calcutta High Court order on finding legal aid counsel was appointed hours before award of life sentence

The top court asked the Calcutta High Court to hear afresh an appeal against a murder conviction after it was clear that the legal aid counsel allotted did not have time to prepare for the case.
