Supreme Court seeks response from Kerala government on ED plea to transfer trial in gold smuggling case to Karnataka

The Supreme Court on Monday issued notice to the Kerala government on a plea moved by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to transfer the trial in the 2020 gold smuggling case in which Swapna Suresh is a prime accused, from Kerala to Karnataka [Directorate of Enforcement v Sarith PS & Ors.].
