The Supreme Court on Monday rejected a public interest litigation (PIL) petition regarding skirmishes at the Indo-China border. .The plea by Abhijeet Saraf sought to highlight the losses suffered by India at the border and disputed the Central government's claims in this regard. "After Galwan valley incident, the Centre says there is no Chinese invasion but it is incorrect," the petitioner submitted. The bench of Chief Justice of India UU Lalit and Justice S Ravindra Bhat, however, said that these are issues falling within policy domain and rejected the plea."These border skirmishes, invasions etc are all within the policy domain and nothing to do with Article 32. These are all acts of State. Thank you dismissed," the Court said.
