The Supreme Court Legal Services Committee (SCLSC) on Tuesday held a workshop for legal aid panel lawyers on digitisation..The workshop, chaired by the Committee's Executive Chairperson Justice BR Gavai, also focussed on enhancing the quality of legal aid.Justice Gavai revealed that in the near future, a mechanism will be established where one can give feedback about the working of the Committee.He highlighted that the Advocates-on-Record who are part of the SCLSC are its voice and serve as its pillars of strength.The judge also spoke of the importance of providing platforms for interaction between legal aid counsel and jail inmates virtually..Senior Advocate Vibha Datta Makhija in her welcome address spoke on the evolution of the SCLSC.
