Supreme Court Collegium recommends three additional judges of Kerala High Court to be made permanent judges

The three additional judges are Justices Abdul Rahim Musaliar Badharudeen, Viju Abraham and Mohammed Nias CP.

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended that three additional judges of the Kerala High Court be made permanent judges of that court.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Collegium held on December 9, 2022

The three additional judges are:

  1. Justice Abdul Rahim Musaliar Badharudeen;

  2. Justice Viju Abraham; and

  3. Justice Mohammed Nias CP.

As on November 1, the Kerala High Court is functioning at a strength of 37 as opposed to a sanctioned strength of 47.
