The Supreme Court Collegium on Tuesday recommended the appointment of judicial officer Mohammad Yousuf Wani as an additional judge of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. .In its resolution, the Collegium noted that Wani joined judicial service on December 9, 1997 and has been serving as a judicial officer in various capacities. "The inputs placed by the government in the file indicate that he enjoys a good personal and professional image. Nothing adverse has come to notice with regards to his integrity. The Annual Confidential Reports of the officer are consistently of a high order," the Collegium noted.
