The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of a judicial officer, A Badharudeen, as a judge of the Kerala High Court.

The decision was taken following a meeting held by the Collegium on March 2.

"The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 2 nd March, 2021, has approved the proposal for elevation of Shri A.Badharudeen, Judicial Officer as Judge of the Kerala High Court," the statement published by the Collegium reads.

Judge Badharudeen is presently serving as a District and Sessions Judge at Alappuzha.
