STAR lifts IDIA Football League 2015 trophy; Khaitan wins ‘Plate Winners Trophy’

The team from STAR TV won the second edition of the IDIA Football League held on September 5 and 6 in Mumbai. Khaitan & Co claimed the trophy in a separate category..The first day of the event saw each team playing 4 league matches, thus witnessed 40 matches in all. Khaitan & Co claimed the ‘Plate Winners Trophy’ after beating Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in the final..IFL 2015 witnessed participation from 19 top law firms and legal departments of corporates including AZB & Partners, J Sagar Associates, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Economic Law Practices, Lakshmikumaran Sridharan, Juris Corp, Khaitan & Co, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Bharucha and Partners, Desai Diwanji, Wadia Ghandy, Platinum Partners, K Law, Trilegal, and Mahindra & Mahindra..Srinivasan (Star TV) was adjudged the Best Goalkeeper of IFL 2015 and Animesh Bisht (Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas) was awarded the Highest Scorer IFL 2015 award.
