Standing committee gives nod to Delhi High Court Bill; Pecuniary jurisdiction to be increased to 2 crore

The Standing Committee on Law and Personnel on Thursday assented to the passing of the Delhi High Court (Amendment) Bill 2014, reports Business Standard. The Bill proposes to enhance the pecuniary jurisdiction of the Delhi High Court to Rs. 2 crore from the existing Rs. 20 lakh.
