Soumya Vishwanathan murder: Supreme Court seeks convicts' response on State's appeal against bail

In February, the Delhi High Court granted bail to the four convicts until the disposal of their appeals against their conviction and sentence. This led to the appeal by the State before the top court.

The Supreme Court on Monday issued notice on an appeal filed by the Delhi police against the Delhi High Court's decision to suspend a life sentence and grant interim bail to four men convicted for murdering journalist Soumya Vishwanathan in 2008 [State NCT Delhi v. Amit Shukla and ors].
