In its 96th report on Demands for Grants (2018-19) of Ministry of Law and Justice, the Department related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Personnel Public Grievances Law and Justice has sought for appointment of law officers including a Solicitor General of India, and the introduction of quotas for women in Law Universities and the subordinate judiciary.
