Six new judges were sworn into office as Kerala High Court judges on Friday. .Chief Justice AJ Desai administered the oath of office to the six new judges who were all elevated directly from the bar.The new judges, in order of seniority, are:Mullappally Abdul Aziz Abdul Hakhim;Syam Kumar Vadakke Mudavakkat;Harisankar Vijayan Menon;Manu Sreedharan Nair;Easwaran Subramani; andManoj Pulamby Madhavan..The judges will serve in their posts for a period of two years from today following which they may or may not be made permanent judges of the High Court. .Until yesterday, the High Court had a functioning strength of 35 judges against a sanctioned strength of 47.
