Both Partasides and Rowley expressed their love for India and said that India would soon become a leader in international arbitration.

During her address, Justice Malhotra highlighted the importance of the book in arbitration research, while stating that it had been referred to in several Supreme Court judgments.

"I am honoured to speak of this book which has even been referred to by the Supreme Court in many cases," she said.

She stated that Redfern and Hunter had often been referred to as the "Bible" of international arbitration.

"It comprehensively covers issues arising in international commercial arbitration."

The book's widespread acceptance by national courts attests to its quality, said Justice Malhotra. She also explained that the publication of such commentaries was useful in today's increasingly globalised world, where arbitration was becoming more and more complex.

"In an increasingly globalised world, this book contributes to global jurisprudence. International arbitrations are becoming more and more complex, with different governing laws, arbitral tribunals today are inundated, the publication of such commentaries is very useful for practitioners."
