Supreme Court lawyer Senior Advocate Basava Prabhu S Patil has been appointed the Advocate General of Sikkim..A notification to that effect was published on Monday by by the Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department of the Government of Sikkim. Patil is an alumnus of University Law College, Bengaluru and was enrolled with the State Bar Council of Karnataka as an advocate in 1991.
