SEBI notifies New Takeover Code

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the capital market regulator has today notified the takeover code norms. The new regulations described as, ‘The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011’, will come into effect from October 23, 2011.
