The Supreme Court Advocates on Record Association (SCAORA) has issued an advisory to advocates and law firms to take precautionary measures in view of the severity of the pandemic Coronavirus (COVID-19)..The advisory has urged, "Prevention is better than cure and let us all work together towards a healthier and safer Bar.".The SCAORA has, thereby, requested that lawyers instruct their respective Junior Advocates and other Staff to do their drafting, research etc. from home and also to advice their respective clerks to avoid coming to their workplace or courts, unless there is extreme urgency..The instructions have been issued with the motive to discourage unnecessary traveling via public transport that may expose lawyers and other staff to unknown carriers, which may consequently endanger their colleagues and seniors at the workplace as well.
